We work with an external partner to plant a tree for every order completed.

Transparency is key to this effort. Here is the impact our planting partner has made alongside businesses:

• This tree planting ledger keeps a running count of all trees that have been paid for and their corresponding certificates.

How can you ensure trees survive and don't die quickly after planting?

This is a fair concern and here is what our external partner tells us they are doing to alleviate it:

• Our partners work carefully with all levels of government to secure written agreements designating the restoration sites as protected in perpetuity.
• They hire people from local communities to plant trees. In this way, we alleviate extreme poverty within the impacted community. Fair and consistent employment provides an economic incentive to ensure the well-being of the restoration project. Additionally, those who plant the trees have a sense of “ownership” over the restored forests, so they protect them with great care.
• A percentage of the trees planted are agroforestry species (fruit, fodder species designed to provide food security and benefit legitimate human needs). Over time these trees become a source of sustainable income.
• They do everything possible to supply the local communities with alternative fuel sources (e.g., fuel-efficient dry wood stoves and solar parabolic stoves), reducing and or eliminating the dependence on charcoal.
• They hire forest guards as part of the labour force to protect the forests. Forest guards are part of the overall budget.
• Most significantly, we have seen the local communities fall in love with their forest. They benefit from the restored forest through an increase in fisheries, improved farming, cleaner water, and the formation of micro-enterprises. As the employees work to restore their land, their lives are transformed as well.

Shipping Times For Fresh Coffee

• Next Working Day Delivery: If you need your order urgently, we offer a Next Working Day service for £5.25. Orders do take time to process and therefore the Next Working Day will be the day after the order is shipped (usually this will still arrive within 48 hours (Mon-Fri).
• Royal Mail 2nd Class Tracked: Deliveries usually arrive within 2-4 working days.
  Royal Mail 1st Class Tracked: Deliveries usually arrive within 1-2 working days.

Change of mind

If you have changed your mind and the items are unsuitable then please contact us within 14 days of receipt of the goods to arrange a refund.  You will incur the carriage charge for return of the goods. Please note that refunds are subject to the provided goods being in perfect condition, unused and complete in their unopened original packaging. Please allow 14 working days for this process.  

All shipping back to BeneBrew is to be paid for by the customer.  We recommend that your carrier provides you with ‘proof of delivery’ as BeneBrew cannot be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit. 

Damages and issues

 
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item. BeneBrew will offer a replacement or refund, please contact us to arrange the return of the goods.

Refunds

 
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
